Melawan Absurditas Hidup: Menjadi Manusia Seutuhnya Menurut Soren Abbey Kierkegaard

This article is the author’s attempt to examine the relevance of Kierkegaard’s existentialist thought to the problems of human life today, that life often create creates an absurd empty space, which demands meaning to color the emptiness. However, this meaning often goes to far so that the absurdity of life that is intended to be faded actually gives birth to another absurdity. Murder, rape, massacres, and thousands of immoral things are born from this absurdity. Therefore, Kierkegaard concept of existentialist is one the panaceas that can help us rebel and fight this absurdity for a more meaningful life as a whole human being. Kierkegaard’s existentialist concept is a good offer for us to break the chain of absurdity by turning away from it through a leap from the stage or the area of existence with a mutually transcending forward movement. In this paper, the author fully uses qualitative research, namely by collecting literature that discusses this problem and as much as possible the author tries to dissect this problem using Kierkegaard’s concept of existence
