CREATIO EX NIHILO DALAM TEOLOGI PENCIPTAAN: REFLEKSI TEOLOGIS TERHADAP RELASI ALLAH, MANUSIA, DAN ALAM

Doktrin creatio ex nihilo merupakan salah satu ajaran fundamental dalam teologi Kristen yang menegaskan bahwa Allah menciptakan seluruh ciptaan dari ketiadaan. Doktrin ini tidak hanya menjelaskan asal-usul dunia secara metafisis, tetapi juga memiliki implikasi teologis yang penting bagi pemahaman tentang relasi antara Allah, manusia, dan alam.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merefleksikan kembali doktrin creatio ex nihilo dalam kerangka teologi penciptaan dengan menekankan relasi antara Allah, manusia, dan alam serta implikasinya bagi tanggung jawab manusia terhadap ciptaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data diperoleh dari Kitab Suci, dokumen Gereja, serta karya-karya para teolog klasik dan kontemporer yang membahas teologi penciptaan. Analisis dilakukan melalui pendekatan teologi sistematika dengan metode analisis teologis yang bersifat kritis dan reflektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa doktrin creatio ex nihilo menegaskan ketergantungan ontologis seluruh ciptaan kepada Allah sebagai sumber keberadaan. Pemahaman ini membuka perspektif bahwa dunia memiliki nilai intrinsik karena berasal dari Allah, sehingga tidak dapat diperlakukan semata-mata sebagai objek eksploitasi. Dalam kerangka teologi penciptaan, manusia sebagai imago Dei memiliki posisi yang khas sekaligus tanggung jawab moral untuk menjaga dan memelihara keutuhan ciptaan. Oleh karena itu, refleksi teologis mengenai creatio ex nihilo memberikan dasar penting bagi pengembangan etika ekologis dalam kehidupan iman Kristen serta memperkaya pemahaman tentang relasi antara Allah, manusia, dan seluruh ciptaan dalam konteks dunia modern.
